Gripset releases the revolutionary "Elastoproof" Sealing System

The Gripset Elastoproof Sealing System is a revolutionary and innovative group of reinforcement products designed to simplify, enhance and improve the quality of waterproofing applications. The range enables permanent long term sealing for the most volatile and challenging areas in building construction, such as expansion joints, drains, pipe penetrations and substrate abutments.

Complimenting the full range of Gripset membranes, the Gripset Elastoproof products are waterproof and vapour-proof, able to be used in under ground, immersed, exterior and internal waterproofing applications. The main features and benefits of this system are:

As the Elastoproof range has been especially designed to suite the different application situations detailed above, it is offered in the following formats:

Elastoproof Joint Bands: are elastic rubber reinforced polyester fabric that enables elongation of > 700% at areas prone to movement. Elastoproof is a superior, quality alternative to traditional methods of sealing joints and junctions, eliminating the need to use bond breaking tapes under membranes and enabling applications to permanently seal critical areas while accommodating maximum expected movement in the built environment.

Elastoproof Prefabricated Corners & Sections: are applied at a variety of junction points. They are a major time saving and superior reinforcement alternative to traditional methods of multi coated membranes over reinforcement tapes. The corners are easily installed at wall/floor junctions with Gripset membranes to enable fast, efficient and permanent sealing at 90o and 270o sections.

Elastoproof Collars: are elastic rubber squares incorporated into a reinforcement fabric with a central hole (5mm, 28mm and 72mm diameter) to fit over wall pipes and vertical outlets to form a permanent water tight seal. When fitted the Elastoproof Collar forms a permanent tight seal around the neck of the pipe or outlet to protect against movement, cracks and gaps to ensure the total perimeter is sealed against water penetration, without relying on sealants and gap fillers.

Elastoproof Collars (for floor pipes): are elastic rubber squares incorporated into a reinforcement fabric that enable a watertight seal over floor pipes, flanges and drainage outlets. When fitted the Elastoproof Collar forms a permanent tight seal around the neck of the pipe or outlet to protect against movement, cracks and gaps to ensure the total perimeter is sealed against water penetration, without relying on flexible sealants and gap fillers. Most importantly the Elastoproof Collar protects the critical interface between the pipe or flange to the substrate, ensuring movement or cracking will not damage or compromise one of the most critical areas of the waterproofing system.
