Gripset release new high build bitumen compound
05 Oct 2011

Gripset 59 is a solvent free polymer bitumen membrane designed for waterproofing applications where achieving a thick film build is the primary objective. The unique properties of Gripset 59 enable applications by trowel or spatula to achieve film builds in excess of 10mm.

The quick drying properties and the primerless one coat application of Gripset 59 present time saving efficiencies over multi coat systems. These efficiencies are further highlighted when used over block, brickwork and slightly uneven substrates where pre bagging and surface levelling is not is not required.

The Gripset 59 cured film displays high abrasion, high impact and root resistant qualities (inbuilt root inhibitor). The already impressive waterproof properties are further enhanced through compression making it an ideal membrane choice for subterranean applications such as retaining walls and planter boxes
